本機は1本のマイクに対しプリアンプを4台まで接続でき、それぞれを切り替えて比べることができます。ボーカリストがマイク・プリアンプを比較する際にとても便利です。あるプリアンプは男性シンガーには良いサウンドだが、女性シンガーには向いていないと感じることがあるからです。

本機があればプリアンプの比較はとても簡単です。いちいちミュートして、パッチ・ケーブルでつなぎ変えて、レベルを設定し直して等の手間が掛かりません。プリアンプをスイッチでパッパと切り替えれば、耳が 前の音を覚えているうちに比較できます。これによりプリアンプ選びの時間も短縮できます。アーティスト自身もプリアンプ選びに簡単に関われるので、彼らも安心でき、リラックスしてパフォーマンスできるでしょう。
